Cloud & Pillar
Triumph over tragedy. Just two years following a near fatal car accident, Lisa and Rebecca Bosquez are setting out on a true journey of faith, trust, and adventure. Throughout the summer of 2012, this mother/daughter team will be walking, and possibly biking on occasion, across the United States - from Savannah, GA to San Diego, CA. They are excited to share their inspirational story as they focus their quest on raising funds for missions.
Where did the name "Cloud and Pillar" come from?
The book of Exodus talks about God leading as the Israelites wandered. They followed a pillar of cloud by day and a pillar of fire at night. The pillars were a constant reminder of God's presence. The cloud also provided a source of direction and some protection during the heat of the day; the pillar of fire provided direction and heat during the cool nights.
God is with us yet today. Rebecca and Lisa trust that He will lead and guide them throughout this trip and give them the protection that they need as well. They believe God will provide all of their needs.

Refreshingly honest, young, and witty, Rebecca has a heart of compassion. She longs to help others medically and share the Gospel with the lost.
As a traumatic brain injury survivor, Rebecca knows first hand what it is like to endure long and intense therapies and what it takes to fight for her life. Her story is sure to inspire! |
Lisa
Working through near fatal car accident involving both of her children and their friend, Lisa remained steadfast in her faith. She has been described as caring, patient, and understanding.
